Virgin Galactic (VG) is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Mission Operations Team. This position will begin in May or June. You must be available full-time for a duration of 12 weeks in Las Cruces, NM. We are looking for students who are enthusiastic and ambitious with a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (required) in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
• Must be a US citizen, or national, current US permanent resident holder.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
• Strong interest in commercial space flight

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $41,600.00–$55,640.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
