  • Build a content library and asset-management approach that creates long-term value from Virgin Galactic’s imagery, footage and stories.
  • Determine the appropriate balance of internal capabilities, production partners and specialist vendors as flight cadence and content needs evolve.

Partner Across the Enterprise

  • Establish clear roles, workflows and approval processes across Brand, Marketing, Content and Communications.
  • Bring together teams across Sales, Communications, Customer Experience, Operations, Engineering, Safety and other functions to deliver complex initiatives under demanding timelines.
  • Ensure every brand expression—from a global campaign to an astronaut’s personal flight film—reflects the quality and significance of the Virgin Galactic experience.

Drive Performance and Build the Team

  • Establish objectives, KPIs and measurement frameworks for brand, marketing, content and align creative output with business priorities.
  • Connect marketing investment to business outcomes through disciplined analytics, testing and optimization.
  • Own the Brand, Marketing & Content budget, balancing long-term brand building with near-term commercial and production priorities.

  • Strong commercial and analytical judgment, including experience setting KPIs, evaluating effectiveness and improving return on marketing investment.
  • Experience managing significant budgets, agencies, production partners and external vendors.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, relationship-management and influencing skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with Communications while maintaining clear accountability for brand, marketing and content outcomes.
  • A record of attracting, developing and retaining exceptional talent.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, production or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
